Joseph McBride is the Civilian Director of CONTRA, a high-level NATO liaison between Washington D.C. and Brussels. Joseph served as chairman on the committee selecting CONTRA officers and is influential in promoting greater cooperation between Allies. Joseph is also the father of Troy McBride (Battlestar). His wife, Elizabeth, lives on Adena where she raised Troy’s brother (Lonthran). Joseph’s wife is a descendant of Exa the Great, one of the most revered figures in Nerrial from the War of the Star.
