Alliance Command

Every memorable organization has a powerful symbol. In The Contra Alliance Trilogy, this organization is The Revolution. In 2035, NATO forms a Counter-Revolutionary (CONTRA) strike force to hunt down and eradicate the rogue group, which many intelligence analysts fear is the equivalent of a new Al-Qaeda.

Even before CONTRA is formed, the strange symbol appears in different locations around the world. Originally discovered by U.S. Marines on a counter-narcotics mission in the Colombian jungle, the symbol draws curious attention. A CIA-Special Operations unit named Nightwatch tasked with hunting The Revolution prior to CONTRA’s formation documented the findings.

The following excerpt was written by a Nightwatch operative named Troy McBride:

“The jagged symbol appears in every location we track them. Several recently captured mercenaries brandished tattoos of the symbol on their neck or chest. We found these men near the Moroccan desert outpost where The Three evaded our strike team. The captured would not confess of the whereabouts of the ringleaders or the meaning of the symbol. A collection of symmetric diamonds arranged in a pattern of six vertical lines, their symbol has no obvious meaning but can be directly attributed to the axis of underground militants associated with The Revolution.”
